There are many different types of cats in the world. My favourite one is the calico cat. I know of a calico cat that is quite a bit different, in many ways, I will share with you, some of the things I know.
This cat is the same colours as a calico cat, bright orangy brown, white, and bit of black. She is on the large scale, and not large as in tubby large, but just a big version of a cat.
This is how the calico cat starts her day: When she wakes up in the morning she gives a big stretch, after she gets out of her wicker basket with her pretty green quilt.
This cat gets let outside. She tip toes around “to do her thing”, and then runs back to the window, which is a sliding glass door. Then she waits in the laundry room and peeks her head out until she sees you filling up her bowl with food. You still have to call her name, and then she will run towards you. The calico cat paws out to you, but know one can ever catch her paw.
When I wake up in the mornings I find her napping on the couch. We have a special way of talking to our furry friend. It makes her happy. When I see her napping on the couch you have to pat her on the head and say “you are a good girl”. We usually have to talk to her in that special way. Some mornings while I am still sleeping in bed, she’ll try and wake me up. But when I am reaching out to pet her she dashes away. We think that she says: “ I’m so busy, I’m so busy, I have got things to do, I’m busy!”. Then she scampers away. Later we find her sitting on the couch, licking her paw.
She loves to pounce on balls. It’s her favourite thing. When the ball starts rolling you can see her little fingers all spread out, and then she just starts running around. She tackles the ball, and then rolls it back to me.
If you felt her ears, they are the softest things alive. Her tail moves whenever she’s happy, or when she’s nervous. She’s pretty much nervous all the time, so we have to pet her soft ears and tell her it’s OK.
We think she might nervous all the time because of her evil sister. She has been gone for two years now, but there is a stuffed animal to take her place, and it has the same name. Another thing that makes her nervous is people running up to her. She ducks and runs away, and hides behind my dad or my mom.
She likes all of us, but she loves “Papa” the most, at least that’s what she calls him. She’s sort of strange because she sits on his lap all the time, sleeps next to him, and follows him around. Just like follow the leader, in this case, it’s “Papa’s the leader”. If she can’t see him, she will start to freak out and cry. When my dad pulls into the driveway, this calico cat just sits and waits for him by the big livingroom window. When he walks through the door, she sings the “I’m happy song”.
She also spends her day laying on the livingroom floor. Sometimes she might sneak up onto the couch, where she knows she is not allowed.
can find her sitting on the big comfy couch.
